About Wilfile
Wilfile started as Willamette Media Services back in 2008 after had spending several years producing videos for a major Seattle based ministry for use in their childrens ministry department producing over 100 videos that were used for promotions and teaching material
Since that time, the business change when relocated to the Willamette Valley where produce videos for special events and work on media preservation activities for special organizations including working with ministries in the Willamette Valley producing church services for internet video streaming purposes.
Since 2016, Willamette Media Service has focused on providing software applications for database purposes for businesses as well as mobile devices as the result of creating and managing internet applicaitons for the previous busines.
Tim Babcock (Owner) has been active in the IT industry since 1982 starting with computer programming on various home computer systems while graduating from ITT Technical Institute. During the 1980s, Tim worked on various IT projects for logistical operations in the Seattle-Tacoma area including the first UPS manifest system created in the United States for Union Bay Sportswear.
During the 1990's Tim spent most of his time employed with Pitney Bowes installing and supporting logistical systems integrated into company computer systems capturing screen data using DDX for shipping and invoicing purposes. During this time, setup, training, and support was also conducted for various businesses throughout Western Washington for Smartmail software application systems (a Foxpro application using for postal coding and presort purposes).
In 2003, a website anythingmade.com was created using .Net framework with Microsoft Access databases to create listings for customers that allowed pictures to be uploaded to the webpage.
In 2004, various marketing and fulfillment applications were created using Microsoft Access while employed for Mailhandlers.
Since 2009, Tim relocated to the Willamette Valley to persue a bachelors degree attending college at Linn-Benton Community College, Oregon State University, and Eastern Oregon University majoring in business administration with minors in Computer Science and buinsess and entrepreneurship.
In 2021, the company name was being converted to Wilfile, a name used for sofware applications used with MySQL servers for transacation and document storage.
2002: Creation of anythingmade.com using Microsoft Access database as an e-commerce system with ASP.Net framework
2004: Creating Access Database applications for marketing projects and small business purposes
2006: Creating Access Database application to synchronize with Palm devices. The first successful mobile database application designed to eliminate paper and easy updates for The Seattle Times Circulation purposes.
2008: Creation of ERP system for North Pacific Office to manage copier service calls using Microsoft SQL Server with .NET Framework Designed for Blackberry devices.
Creation of storefront for selling copier and printer toner.
2009: Creation of database system for Linn Benton Community College to manage media material in the Diversity Achievement Center.
2010-2013: Creation of small business project for Linn Benton Community College creating detailed manuals for management and operation of the student coffee shop.
2015: Creation of Microsoft Access application for Corvallis Indoor Winter Market compiled for Office 365 software application for cloud purposes.
2016: Creation of ERP system to manage income and expenses using Oracle 11g SQL Enterprise Server with .Net Framework using secured web portal systems.
2017 Creation of SQLite applications using Xamarin for Windows 10 and Google devices.
